Your identity, culture, and lived experiences all have a place in the conversation.
At Resilient Roots Therapy, we provide anti-oppressive, culturally responsive therapy for BIPOC, Queer, Trans, and Non-Binary individuals, people living with visible and invisible disabilities, and people navigating the intersections of identity, culture, relationships, and mental health.
You shouldn't have to search for clues that your therapist will understand you.
Finding a therapist can come with an extra layer of questions when your experiences haven't always been understood, affirmed, or represented in the spaces you've entered.
Will I have to educate my therapist about my gender or sexuality?
Will I have to explain racism before I can talk about how it affected me?
Will my neurodivergence be understood as difference, or automatically approached as a deficit?
Can I talk openly about my relationships without having to explain or defend their structure?

What if therapy didn't require you to leave parts of yourself at the door?
Imagine having room to talk about what's happening in your life without first having to prove, translate, or over-explain your experience.
→ A space where your racial and cultural identity can be part of the conversation.
→ Where gender, sexuality, disability, neurodivergence, family, relationships, and the systems you move through aren't treated as side notes.
→ Where you and your therapist can focus on what brought you to therapy — and co-construct what support looks like for you.

At RRT, our goal is to create a brave space where you can feel safe enough to explore what may be difficult or uncomfortable, and courageous enough to grow and move through life with greater ease.
In-Person Therapy in London, Ontario + Virtual Therapy Across Ontario
Support for the many ways we move through life.
Our therapists work with children, youth, adults, older adults, couples, relationships, and families. Our services are broad by design, with care shaped around the person or people who walk through our door.
Care That Makes Room For You
Care that sees the person, the context, and everything in between.
Representation Matters
Our team includes therapists with lived experiences that reflect many of the communities we serve. We understand why seeing yourself represented in your therapist — and in the practice you choose — can matter.
You Are the Expert on Your Life
Our work is collaborative and co-constructive. Rather than deciding what healing should look like for you, we work alongside you to identify your goals and shape care around your needs, experiences, strengths, and resources.
Difference Isn't Deficit
We embrace neurodiversity as a natural and valuable form of human variation. Our approach makes room for different ways of thinking, communicating, processing, relating, and moving through the world.
We Understand That Context Matters
Our approach recognizes the impacts that systemic racism, oppression, marginalization, culture, identity, and lived experience can have on emotional and psychological well-being.
Meet the Resilient Roots Therapy Team
Finding the right therapist means finding someone you can connect with.

Our team includes registered social workers and registered psychotherapists committed to anti-oppressive, culturally responsive, and client-centered care.
We also know that credentials and areas of practice aren't the only things that determine whether a therapist is right for you. That's why your first step at RRT is a Discovery Call with our Clinic Coordinator. We'll learn more about the kind of support you're looking for and help match you with a therapist in the clinic.
And if you begin therapy and realize the fit doesn't feel quite right, that's okay. You can always come back to us. We'll talk through what isn't working and help you find another therapist who may be a better fit.

Care You Can Feel Confident In
Your care matters. That’s why our practice is backed by recognized credentials, professional affiliations, and trusted standards.
